We the students essay contest

The We The Students Essay Contest is an incredible opportunity for high school students to gain recognition on a national level while exercising their writing aptitude and expressing their opinions on a critical issue. Sponsored by the Constitutional Rights Foundation, this contest is open to all current high school students between the ages of 14 and 19.

This contest encourages students to think critically about the U.S. Constitution and current issues with an essay of 800-1,200 words, including topics such as freedom of speech, voting rights, and equal protection under the law. All essays must be submitted by April 15th, and the Grand Prize winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship and a trip to Washington D.C.
