Admissions
A students seeking candidancy at Hillcrest School must have either normal or above normal intelligence and learn differently. Students who have had significant behavioral or emotional challenges in their previous school may not be a strong candidate for Hillcrest School.

Section I.
Admission to the Hillcrest School is based on the following criteria:

A.Meeting requirements listed in Section II.
B.Availability of student opening at appropriate grade level.
C.Agreement of family to pay full tuition unless scholarship help is requested and granted.
D.Determination by the school that placement at Hillcrest
is appropriate for the applicant and the school.

Section II.
The following must be received before an applicant is considered for placement:

A. Application for Enrollment
B. Interview with parent (s)
C. Interview with applicant
D. Visitation in classroom by applicant
E. Test results and records from previous school
F. Test scores on intellectual assessment

Section III.
The following must be received when the applicant is accepted as a Hillcrest School student and prior to the first day of classes.

A. Registration fee
B. Acceptable immunization record
C. Financial agreement
D. Completion of enrollment packet
Tuition and Fees
The Hillcrest Board of Directors determine fees on an annual basis.

Registration Fee: $150.00
Supply Fee: $ 350.00
Activity Fee: $ 250.00
Tuition: $7007.00

Limited scholarships are available and are subject to outside funding. Contact school office for more information.
Operating Costs
Approximately 28% of our operating budget is funded through special events, grants, and individual donors throughout the community.

Fundraising is essential to maintain Hillcrest School's commitment to a specialized education with small class sizes, certified specially trained teachers, and tuition at a reasonable rate.
